This is the official site of the Gainesville, Fl region of National Novel Writing Month: aka NaNo WriMo. Maintained by the co-Municipal Liaisons for the region, it has a list of all the planned events.

The goal of NaNo WriMo is to write a novel in a month – November to be exact. 50,000 words in 30 days – sounds impossible? Nonsense, as long as you keep in mind the two mottos of great NaNo WriMo participants everywhere:

1) No plot? No Problem!

2) Quantity, not quality.

Don’t let the plot ninjas get you down, and check here for local events that will help keep you writing when you want to stop and argue with your characters, or when plot bunnies make you want to pull out your hair.
